Free Quote and things to consider when booking a clearance
We provide free quotes upon viewing. If our quote is exceptable contact our office by email to check for available dates.
Our quotes will detail items that are classed as Harzardous and explain labour charges and where nessesary offer money against the cost of the quote for some items. If we feel it is nessesary we will advise on items that should go to auction. We work with a Dorset auctioneer who can also provide probate services if required.
Things to consider:
When are you looking for the clearance to take place.
Can we gain assces my meeting you at the property or can we gain access using a key from a solicitor, estate agent or key safe.
Remove personel belongings or store these in a room or cupboard that is not to be touched. On the day of the clearance larger items of furniture are ideally maked not to be removed.
We can arrange for personel details such as cheque books, bank statements etc to be shredded. A certificate of shredding can be provided.
Do carpets/curtains/light shades need to be removed.

Surcharges:
Hazardous items carry surcharges for commercial clearance companys (these items are generally free to dispose of at the household tip but commercial recycling companies are not allowed to use them, it is a condition of the waste carriers license) it is worth asking what these surcharges are, but be aware that some of these charges change quite quickly such as the recent increase in disposal costs for mattresses and sofas.
These hazardous items include mattresses, paint, plasterboard, non working refidgeration units, commercial refridgeration units, non working tv's and monitors. POP waste (persistant organic pollutants) such as sofas, armchairs, divan bed bases and office chairs.
We hold a waste carriers license which can be seen on request, we also keep records of all of waste disposal, these receipts can be seen upon request. By law a commercial waste clearance company should have at least 2 years of disposal reciepts available at any time (unless they have not traded for 2 years).
We recycle clean untreated wood, giving this away to people in the local area.

In 2022 we sent 52 tonnes of wood and wood products to Canford Recycling centre.
In 2022 we sent 46 tonnes of bulky household waste to Canford recycling centre.
